Car rental is not permitted. However, a slight departure from this rule has been allowed and there are a handful of electric 2 seater' 4 wheel covered/ enclosed vehicles for rent e.g. the Tazzari, the Renault Twizy. There are recharging facilities at Red Barracks for the vehicles ( the Twizy has a special 240V socket)
